This season’s newsletter includes a section dedicated to some of our hardworking volunteers who received awards this past November from the Triad chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, as well as those who were honored at our Volunteer Appreciation Party this March. The Jimmy Johnson Volunteer Lodge was also highlighted, noting that the 2016-2017 fiscal year had housed 536 high school and college students over 18 weeks that were dedicated to Habitat service. A message from Executive Director Michael Campbell, information about this year’s Faith and Unity Builds, Habitat’s partnership with local initiatives, and an excerpt about one homeowner’s trip to build in Nicaragua can be found in this newsletter as well.
