Cornerstone Volunteer Construction Leader Training

We are looking for individuals who can extend the capacity of our staff by joining our Cornerstone Volunteer Team and the first step is to attend the three day training.

During this training you will learn all the major and minor components that makes up an entire house from our Director of Construction, Joe Brown, who recently celebrated his 50th year in the construction industry. Lunch will be provided each day.

Some of the Cornerstone volunteers’ responsibilities include:

• undergoing special training in order to manage teams of less experienced volunteers on work sites, with supervision and advice by our construction staff
• performing repairs for seniors and veterans in the neighborhoods we work in with staff oversight
• helping prepare worksites during the week in preparation of weekend volunteer groups
