Every year the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools’ Career Center carpentry students get a hands-on learning experience by building a Habitat house. And at the end of the school year, it’s moved from the Career Center campus to its new location, where it will be finished out this summer. Forsyth Technical Community College students in the building trades programs get to assist with installing systems.

Today, early this morning when traffic was light, the house was moved to its new location in the Glenn Oaks neighborhood. Once finished, it will become the home of Takisha Rowland and her family. Below are photos of the move. You can also see several videos of it on our Facebook page.
