Whether you are an individual, school, church youth group, or youth organization, here are some ways we'd love for you to get involved with Habitat!

Youth United

Youth United is a program that gives young people ages 5 to 25 to get actively involved in reducing substandard housing in our community. There are many ways that you and your group can get involved, from fundraising to attending events to working on the Youth United build site. Please check out the Youth United website to learn more about how to get involved.

Habitat Clubs and Committees

Do you have a group of students at your school, organization, or church that love Habitat and its mission? Starting a club or committee is a great way to stay consistently involved and help out enormously. This allows students to develop leadership skills, engage other students, and learn about what Habitat does.

What can you do with a Habitat club?
  • Help raise money for the Youth United house
  • Nickels for Nails: collect change in your class or church
  • Join Youth United as your group's representative.
  • Organize Educational and advocacy events to raise awareness about poverty housing issues and what Habitat is doing about it.
  • Volunteer at the ReStore
  • Volunteer at Habitat special events.
  • Volunteer at the Construction site (16 or older)

ReStore Opportunities
We are always looking for volunteers to help out the ReStore staff with customers, cleaning and rearranging the store, unloading
donations from the truck, and more. The ReStore assures that Habitat may continue to build more houses and serve more families and we couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers! Volunteers must be 16 or older unless accompanied by an adult.
Email restore.volunteers@habitatforsyth.org or call 336-765-8854 x. 109 to sign up. Groups welcome!
