The Habitat for Humanity ReStore provides yet another way that you can support our mission of providing safe, quality housing for deserving families. You will find great bargains on new and used building supplies, furniture and appliances, and the money you spend goes to help Habitat build more homes!

The ReStore also encourages donations, which are tax-deductible. You can deliver your items to the loading dock of the ReStore during regular store hours.

We no longer deliver items, however we will pick- them up. All large items will require that you schedule ahead of time, please call ReStore at 336-765-2951. Pick-up of donations is free.

APPLIANCES - in working order with no rust or repairs needed

  • Ranges
  • Dishwashers
  • Washers/Dryers
  • Refrigerators
  • Range Hoods
  • Microwave Ovens
  • HVAC units

BUILDING SUPPLIES

  • Columns and mantels
  • Block, pavers
  • Vinyl siding – full boxes
  • New Shingles – full bundles
  • New Insulation – full rolls
  • Shutters
  • Garage Doors
  • New wallpaper in full rolls

CABINETS – New and used with all drawers and doors
Kitchen and bathroom

DOORS AND WINDOWS - No rot, cracks or missing panes

  • Interior
  • Exterior
  • Storm doors with frames

ELECTRICAL - Residential only in working order.

  • Ceiling fans with mounting hardware
  • Interior and exterior fixtures
  • No track or can lights

ELECTRONICS - In working order

  • Television sets – no consoles
  • Receivers, speakers, CD players
  • Computers and accessories less than 7 years old

FLOORING

  • Carpet and rugs with no visible tears, stains or animal smells
  • Hardwood flooring free of rot – minimum 40 square feet
  • New ceramic and vinyl tile, sheet vinyl

FURNITURE

  • Upholstery in good condition – no tears or stains
  • Hardwood
  • File cabinets, desks and office chairs
  • Tables, chairs, book cases

HARDWARE

  • Interior and exterior locksets with keys
  • Hinges, nails, screws
  • Cabinet and drawer pulls

LUMBER

  • Dimensional 6 feet or longer
  • Trim and molding 6 feet or longer
  • Drywall and sheet goods 4’ x 8’ minimum

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Antiques, collectibles
  • Hand and power tools in working order
  • Exercise equipment

PLUMBING

  • Kitchen and bathroom sinks
  • Bathtubs
  • Toilets – complete and in working order
  • Fiberglass tub/shower combinations
  • Faucets – complete and in working order
  • Pipe and fittings

WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

  • Anything broken: Appliances, glass, computers, mirrors, etc.
  • Partial cans of paint.
  • Full or partial containers of thinner, stains, solvents, flammable or hazardous materials, pesticides
  • Gas logs
  • Mattresses, bedding, sofa beds
  • Clothing
  • Scrap lumber
  • Water beds and water bed frames
  • Kitchenware
  • Single pane windows and storm windows
  • Vehicles: cars, trucks, mopeds, boats
  • Unframed mirrors or glass
  • Paint
  • Pianos
  • Exercise equipment

Directions to the Store:

From Business I-40 East: Take the Knollwood Street exit. Turn right onto Knollwood at the end of the ramp. Go through the traffic light on Stratford Road. Just after passing TriStone Bank, make a left turn onto Witt Street. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore, as well as Habitat’s administrative offices, is at the end of Witt Street, on the left side.

From Business I-40 West: Take the Knollwood Street exit. Turn left onto Knollwood at the end of the ramp. Go through the traffic light on Stratford Road.
